During the COVID-19 pandemic, we understand that as a person with cancer, one of your main concerns is being able to access treatment. The Maryland Proton Treatment Center (MPTC) remains here for you and continues to treat patients safely.
Please be assured that MPTC is taking all necessary steps to protect and care for our patients, visitors and staff. Read these recent patient testimonials to learn how MPTC is continuing to provide a positive treatment experience while ensuring a safe environment for all.
We are following protocols from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and working with experts from across the University of Maryland Medical System and the UM School of Medicine to keep our patients and staff safe.
In accordance with these protocols and at the advice of our experts, changes have been made to our visitor policy, which can be viewed below. Please note that all patients and visitors are required to wear masks inside the center.
