The group from MPTC included University of Maryland Medical Center Resident Nasar Onyeukyu, MD, as well as two affiliate physicians – Annapolis Radiology Associates Physician Luqman K. Dad, MD, and Chesapeake Oncology Hematology Associates Physician Akshar Patel, MD.
The MPTC group visited the offices of Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD) and Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD). They also visited the offices of Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD), Rep. John Sarbanes (D-MD) and had a direct meeting with Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD). They also had lunch with Rep. Kim Schrier (D-WA).
